Molly Sims is six months into her pregnancy, but the mom-to-be still avoids maternity clothes when she can, preferring to showcase her baby bump in tight-fitting outfits. “I’m stuffed in. This isn’t maternity, so I somehow miraculously fit,” Sims told us of her Valentino gown at the opening of the label’s Rodeo Drive store. “The tighter the clothes are around your belly, the smaller you look, in a weird sort of way,” she said. When the Project Accessory host isn’t working designer gowns, she dresses for two in stretchy jersey separates. “I love Rachel Pally at the moment,” she told InStyle.com. “She gives you color and a little bit of chicness. I’m loving the long boho skirts and fun blouses.” Click through the gallery to see more of Hollywood’s most stylish moms-to-be!

We were SO ahead of the day. Back in the early 1980′s, my girlfriend was pregnant in the summer and wz showing her bare belly. Oh my gosh! People were yelling from cars how obscene she was. Now what’s happening? The tighter the clothes, the smaller the bump. I cannot help but LOL. Molly Simms looks great but she’s lucky! Not many pregnant women I pass on the street are wearing Valentino, night or day. Good points should be made here. Spandex leggings or tights may not be the best choice when it comes to looking good. Wearing something a little looser makes it nicer for the eye of the passer-by. A looser fitting top; men’s button down shirt -stylish and roomy. You can show your legs. If in winter a shorter skirt and black tights are great. Shifts are great in the summer. It’s nice the ‘bohemian’ style is returning. Vogue had The Big Look, on their cover in ’77 -’78, for summer. As Molly says,”the fun blouses”… All this is adding up to looking stylish and feeling cooler when you’re pregnant in the summer – in the city.
