Shop Brian Atwood’s Collection for Gilt

Mar 28, 2012 @ 6:30 pm

Celebrity-favorite designer Brian Atwood teamed up with gilt.com on a collection of clutches! “I’ve seen all of these flash sales, how they manage them and create this excitement, and I said it would be great to do it with full-price designs,” the designer told InStyle.com. “Kind of like a sample sale!” The lineup features four styles: a basic envelope clutch (The Carla), a round hard-case minaudiere (The Theodora), a boxy minaudiere (The Iside) and leopard-print design (The Kate). And Atwood insists there’s no need to pack light. “These bags actually look more beautiful when they’re stuffed full,” he told us. Log onto gilt.com to shop the clutches, priced from $1,050 to $1,850, and see all the styles in the gallery now.

Molly Sims On Dressing Her Baby Bump: “The Tighter the Clothes, The Smaller You Look”

Mar 28, 2012 @ 6:00 pm

Molly Sims is six months into her pregnancy, but the mom-to-be still avoids maternity clothes when she can, preferring to showcase her baby bump in tight-fitting outfits. “I’m stuffed in. This isn’t maternity, so I somehow miraculously fit,” Sims told us of her Valentino gown at the opening of the label’s Rodeo Drive store. “The tighter the clothes are around your belly, the smaller you look, in a weird sort of way,” she said. When the Project Accessory host isn’t working designer gowns, she dresses for two in stretchy jersey separates. “I love Rachel Pally at the moment,” she told InStyle.com. “She gives you color and a little bit of chicness. I’m loving the long boho skirts and fun blouses.” Click through the gallery to see more of Hollywood’s most stylish moms-to-be!

Found It! Minka Kelly’s Bright Red Nail Polish

Mar 28, 2012 @ 5:15 pm

We loved how Minka Kelly accented her beige ensemble with a pop of red nail polish at the opening of Valentino‘s Rodeo Drive store in Beverly Hills, so we caught up with the actress to get the inside scoop on her high-octane mani! Kelly lacquered up in Essie‘s Geranium, a bold poppy. “I thought it was a fun, fresh color to put with the gold accents in my dress,” she told InStyle exclusively. “If it were winter, I’d go for a more burgundy color, but I thought this was perfect for spring.” We agree! Get your hands (and nails) on your own bottle at essie.com for $8, and click through our gallery to see more celebrity manicures!

Fashion Star Episode 3: See the Winning Looks (And Our Top Pick)

Mar 28, 2012 @ 4:00 pm

Did you watch Fashion Star last night? Of the designs that won bids from H&M, Macy’s, and Saks Fifth Avenue, our favorite was this pair of high-waisted floral shorts by Ross Bennett. The style caused a bit of a bidding war, and Macy’s walked away with the spring-ready design for $120,000. “Love the @TheRBCollection shorts in pink paired with my @JSCollection Fawana Platforms!!” Jessica Simpson tweeted. Shop the look in floral print, pink, and green gingham for $59 at macys.com, and click through the gallery to see all of last night’s winning designs!
