QVC launched a fragrance to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, and the scent has a story as compelling as Jack and Rose‘s! Legacy 1912 Titanicä is based on the perfume vials brought onboard by passenger and British perfumer Adolphe Saafield. He survived the ship’s crash, but his scents remained on the ocean floor until they were recently recovered by RMS Titanic Inc, and replicated for QVC’s fragrance!  The delicate blend of rose, amber, and fresh lemon is available for $69 at qvc.com. Tell us, would you wear a Titanic-inspired scent?

No, for ethical reasons I won’t associate with anything or anyone that capitalizes on tragedy, employs child labor or slave labor, or behaves unprofessionally.
These vials should have remained on the ocean floor for future absorption by the sea, and as a legacy not a treasure.
