Daniel Radcliffe is not only an actor, he’s also an educator. The Harry Potter and The Woman in Black star serves on the youth advisory council for The Trevor Project, the nation’s only 24/7 crisis-intervention and suicide-prevention lifeline for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning young people. “I’ve never been around so many well-informed, articulate, passionate young people,” Radcliffe told InStyle of his involvement, which helps spread the message of tolerance and understanding to prevent suicide through education. “They want to improve the world, and that’s very inspiring. Love this. How about instead of “tolerance” – which implies that there’s something wrong with people who identify as LGBTQ, we work for acceptance?
