Oscars 2012: Michelle Williams’ Dress Took 300 Hours to Make
Feb 26, 2012 @ 7:30 pmBest Actress nominee Michelle Williams chose a Louis Vuitton dress with a peplum waist for her big night, and played up the strapless neckline with a Fred Leighton for Forevermark necklace that featured 30 carats worth of brilliant-cut diamonds. Fun fact: The dress took over 300 hours to make at the atelier in Paris, the label said in a statement, using silk mousseline and organza ribbons. And the My Week With Marilyn star had to pool her friends to clarify the color. “I’ve been asking everyone what color it is, and they say it’s coral or maybe pomegranate,” she said of the hue. For the record, Louis Vuitton officially called it “burnt orange.” Tell us: Do you like her look?

No. The look is too immature. For 300 hours spent on the dress I’m not impressed. It’s also time to get rid of the Peter Pan look.
