Feb 16, 2012 @ 10:00 amGossip Girl’s Kaylee DeFer traded in her blond strands for a coppery red shade, a decision she made for the hit CW show. “Now that my Gossip Girl character is growing and changing into her own person instead of being ‘Charlie Rhodes, Serena’s cousin,’ I don’t have to look like her,” the actress told us during New York Fashion Week. “I was born blond, but it washes me out.
