Vera Wang’s fall 2012 collection focused on opposites, and the duality of gray. She described the color as: “At once industrial and poetic: hard as steel, dove-soft,” which resulted in a mostly neutral color palette featuring different gradations of the hue as well as energizing jolts of tangerine, the color of 2012. As for the clothes, the silhouette looked long and lean, with a mix of architectural elements, like peplum and intricate folds, while chunky platform pumps and boots in nude or black finished off each look.
