Runway Looks We Love: Altuzarra

Altuzarra’s fall 2012 collection in two words: Gypsy chic. The collection gave off a head-to-toe modern Moroccan vibe from the shearling toggle coats and velvet blazers. Even the carpets covering the runway incorporated the feeling, having been imported from Marrakesh. Gold medallions dripped off the evening gowns, which created a melodic sound as they moved, and footwear designer Gianvito Rossi custom designed the tall, sometimes thigh-high boots for the show.
