Jennie Garth’s Shoes for Charity

Jennie Garth added shoe designer to her résumé, teaming up with ShoeDazzle to create a red slingback pump for a cause. The “Lori” heels, which are named after her friend who had a triple bypass at the age of 39, will be available on shoedazzle.com for $39.95 starting February 14th (Valentine’s Day!). Sales of the shoes benefit The American Heart Association.

Runway Looks We Love: BCBG Max Azria

BCBG Max Azria kicked off New York Fashion Week with a Bauhaus-inspired collection that gave off a strong ‘70s vibe. The lightweight silk and chiffon color-block dresses, pants, and blouses came in rich autumn hues juxtaposed with statement coats made of wool, leather, and fur. “They’re beautiful colors,” designer Max Azria told us backstage of his palette. “I like to add boldness in color. The beloved nail brand looked to the New York City Ballet to inspire its upcoming line of on-point pastels for spring. “The dancers, choreography, and costumes provided a wealth of inspiration for a range of soft, feminine hues,” said Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, OPI Executive VP and Artistic Director. Paige, Rachel McAdams’s character in The Vow, chooses an unconventional look for her nuptials—short and pink! In the film, Paige and Leo (Channing Tatum) perform an illegal wedding ceremony in a museum, so it’s only fitting that the bride’s dress bucks tradition. And McAdams isn’t the only one to try a rosy bridal gown—Reese Witherspoon wed talent agent Jim Toth last March in a blush lace design by Monique Lhuillier.
