Viola Davis: ‘I Am Not a Glam Woman’

Viola Davis may work designer gowns and major jewelry on the red carpet, but the Oscar nominee prefers a more laid-back look when she’s out of the spotlight. “I’m telling you, I have to keep it up,” the Best Actress nominee said of her glitzy public persona at yesterday’s Academy Awards Nominees Luncheon. “If only you guys could see me when I’m at home with my cornrows. I am not a glam woman,” Davis joked. “My biggest fear is that some paparazzi with some lens is going to come to my backyard and see me when I get in my pool. That would be very unfortunate.” We bet Davis looks great, even in her pool!

Victoria Beckham‘s playful lower-priced line hasn’t even hit store shelves yet and it already has a celebrity following! Michelle Williams attended the Oscar nominees luncheon at the Beverly Hilton Hotel wearing a cloud-print Victoria by Victoria Beckham design. The line is due to launch this spring, and dresses will retail for $550 to $900, making them more accessible than pieces from the designer’s main line, which start at around $1,300.
