Perrey Reeves did when she dropped by Club Monaco recently, and she wore her purchases to the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center benefit at the Sunset Tower Hotel last night. “It’s straight of the rack, which is kind of fantastic,” Reeves told InStyle.com of her navy dress and vintage-inspired bag, both from the retailer. “I was walking by the store and saw some really cute displays in the window. I went in and I kind of went wild. I’m a big fan of buying whatever you love and not limiting yourself.” And this look is going to be one of her new staples: “I’ll wear it again. Anne Hathaway presented her stylist pal Rachel Zoe with the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center’s first Visionary Award at a benefit held at the Sunset Tower Hotel last night. “Rachel is loving, caring, fun, and as we all know, fierce,” the actress said on stage. “She’s a fierce friend, she’s a fierce stylist. She’s a fierce designer, wife, sister. She’s a fierce mother. This weekend, Lauren Conrad Tweeted a picture of her new pink strands—and we got the inside scoop on how she created it! “We used chalk!” her colorist Kristin Ess told us exclusively. “It’s a super-fun way to temporarily color your ends because it washes right out. But it’s best when worn in a bun because it will get on your clothes.” Ess also told us that she and Conrad will be posting a full how-to on their site thebeautydepartment.com tomorrow. And this isn’t the first time Conrad tried color: she previously worked peach tips and blue highlights.
