Ever since Angelina Jolie waltzed down the 2009 Oscar red carpet in a knockout pair of emerald earrings, the gem has become her signature stone. During this busy awards season, Jolie has made a point to show off jewels she designed herself for the Style of Jolie collection, produced in collaboration with Beverly Hills jeweler Robert Procop. On Saturday night, she wore studs to the Producers Guild Awards, and on January 9th, she accessorized with 26 carats worth at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards. While the gems really sparkle on the star, the true beauty of the jewels is that 100% of the proceeds from the collection are donated to Jolie’s charity, the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict.
