First Look: The Hunger Games Capitol Couture Site

If you’re as obsessed with The Hunger Games style as we are, today’s your lucky day! The studio behind the hotly anticipated movies has launched the Capitol Couture site, an inside look at all things fashion and beauty in the seriously chic city of Panem. Issue #1 includes a style profile of District 12 escort Effie Trinket, a look at designer clothes and shoes that could go straight from the runway to the Capitol, and a selection of amazing fan art from the Tumblr community. As you count down the days until the March 23rd opening of The Hunger Games, stay tuned to the site for more Capitol fashion tips, tricks and trendspotting.

Banana Republic is teaming up with celebrity-favorite Trina Turk to launch a capsule collection this summer! The lineup will include 60 pieces, from dresses and accessories to swimsuits and towels. “I decided early on that the Palm Springs ‘cocktails by the pool’ lifestyle would be our key inspiration for the colors, styles, and prints,” said the Los Angeles designer, whose vibrant, bold patterns are loved by celebrities like Jennifer Aniston and Halle Berry. Givenchy Customized a Lip Color for Liv Tyler

Liv Tyler is one lucky woman! When the Robot and Frank star stopped by InStyle‘s Sundance portrait studio, she revealed that her pretty berry lip color came from a custom-blended gloss stick made especially for her by the beauty team at Givenchy. “I’m trying to convince them to add it to their collection and call it ‘Liv’s Lips,’” said Tyler, who also serves as the face of the label’s fragrance and makeup campaigns. While the couture color is exclusively hers for now, Tyler did share a simple tip that anyone can do at home: “If your lips are really dry, you can just literally put olive oil on them at night.” We tried it and it worked—thanks Liv!

We are so excited for this little bun in the oven.” The 28-year-old Chicago Bears quarterback proposed to Cavallari last year, broke it off, and reconciled in November. Congrats to the couple!
