Have You Ever Tried an At-Home Peel?

Jan 22, 2012 @ 12:00 pm

The winter’s icy winds can take a serious toll on your skin, but a peel can be the perfect trick to get dry cheeks back to their dewy, summertime state. L’Oreal Paris consulting dermatologist Gervaise Gerstner suggests doing a monthly glycolic peel like AHA Brazilian Peel ($78; sephora.com) to remove the dead layer of skin so moisturizers can penetrate more effectively. “Moisture is needed even more in the winter when it’s cold since windy conditions strip the skin,” says Gerstner. Tell us, have you ever tried an at-home peel? Click through the gallery to browse 11 more tips on soothing your skin this winter.

How To Wear Navy Eyeliner Like Emma Stone

Jan 22, 2012 @ 10:00 am

Goodwin notes that keeping the rest of your makeup low-key will prevent the pop of color from feeling dated. Check out our gallery for more beauty tips from the pros!
