I’m sure you’re right about the rest of the items here but I have nail polish I bought back in 1998 that I still use to this day. It’s all about proper care and storage. To reduce color fading store polish in an opaque container or away from the sun and to prevent separation gently roll each bottle in your hands once a month or so. If you get a polish that has thickened over time there are a variety of polish thinners out there to take care of the problem.

I have a notepad where I keep a record on what date I started using this or that product. 1-2 times a year I toss expired products and products I don’t use.
