Katy Perry dyed her hair blue! Ever the hair chameleon, this is the latest color the pop star has taken on, as she previously tried lavender (on our cover, no less!), black, blond, and red. And, no, this isn’t a wig, like her famous look from the 2010 MTV Movie Awards. Her colorist Rita Hazan confirmed to InStyle.com that she dyed Perry’s hair cobalt blue this week. Tell us: Do you like her new shade? Let us know in the comments!
While Jason Wu’s designs ring up in the thousands, you’ll be able to score styles similar to those seen on the runway and the red carpet for $60 and under come February. Wu’s signature ladylike silhouettes, lace fabrics and prim blouses all made their way into his Target line, which means taking style cues from the designer’s celebrity fans like Jaime King and Zoe Saldana will be easier than ever. “I really focused on not copying what I do in my main line verbatim and translating my vision and my aesthetic into pieces that girls really love,” Wu told InStyle.com. See Jason Wu’s runway and red carpet to Target double takes in the gallery, and shop the collection at Target stores and target.com starting February 5th.
In Dolly Parton’s four-decade career, the 65-year-old superstar has charted 25 number-one hits, sold 100 million records and even opened her very own (enormously successful) theme park. Her frankly artificial beauty, from her platinum wigs to her Coke bottle figure, are just part of her ample charm. “People say, ‘Are you offended by the dumb-blonde jokes?’” she joked on The View. “And I say no, because I know I’m not dumb and I know I’m not blonde.” With her new movie Joyful Noise in theaters today, check out Parton’s transformation from Tennessee tot to all-out superstar in the gallery now.
Queen Latifah’s latest feel-good flick Joyful Noise hits theaters today! In celebration of her new movie, take a look back at her transformation. See her evolve from rap royal to beloved movie star in the gallery now!
