Dania Ramirez is engaged! The Dominican Republic-born actress best known for her role on Heroes has been wearing her ring few a few months now, given to her by new fiancé Bev Land, and opened up about the sparkler at the Forevermark and InStyle Golden Globe cocktail party last night. “My fiancé designed it,” she said of her custom rose gold and white diamond ring, which he purchased from August Stephenson International in Florida. “He wanted to go for a vintage, old love theme. This is probably the first time I’m even discussing it. It defines who I am. He really got something that was beautiful.” Land, an actor, director, and producer, popped the question just a few months after they met. “We were sitting in the back of La Conversation in Los Angeles, and we just decided to spend the rest of our lives together. It wasn’t anything extravagant.” As for wedding planning, that’s also low key. “I haven’t even started,” she confessed. “I’m just enjoying the moment!” Congratulations!

Michelle Williams is happy that the world noticed her new hair color, though her update wasn’t meant to shock. “I don’t even know that it was a conscious choice,” the Golden Globes Best Actress nominee told us at the Forevermark and InStyle-hosted cocktail party in Beverly Hills last night. “I kept cutting it shorter and shorter and as a result it got darker and darker. It naturally happened.” Her colorist Marie Robinson seconds her story. “It’s more golden and honey, but she was platinum for so long it looks pretty strawberry to everyone,” Robinson told InStyle.com. “To show off the texture in her haircut, I used several different lowlights, with a golden blond at the roots and warm blond on the ends.” Williams noted, however, there could be one more reason for her new hue: “You know what it is? It’s because my hair never sees the sun because it lives under wigs most of the time! That’s what it is!” Either way, great look!
