The Celebrity Apprentice: Meet the New Cast!

The Celebrity Apprentice returns to TV soon! Host Donald Trump appeared on the Today show this morning to announce the 18 members of the fifth season cast, which includes former Miss Universe Dayana Mendoza, model Cheryl Tiegs, Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Guidice, singer Debbie Gibson, actress Tia Carrere, and more. (See all the competitors at nbc.com/the-apprentice.) The teams will again be split from the start, Boys v. Girls. “Everyone is really competitive,” Trump said of the group. Liz Claiborne Changing Name to Fifth & Pacific, FYI

Liz Claiborne is getting a new name! After 36 years, the fashion label announced today that it will change its name to Fifth & Pacific, effective this May. “While it’s difficult to replace an iconic name like Liz Claiborne, we believe that Fifth & Pacific Companies telegraphs who we are today—taking inspiration from New York and California, while describing our reach and our potential,” Liz Claiborne Inc. Chief Executive Officer William L. McComb said in a statement. The company sold the namesake brand to J.C. Penney recently, and now runs several global brands, including Kate Spade, Juicy Couture, and Lucky Brand. Goodbye, Liz!

Royal Diamonds to Go On Display!

To honor Queen Elizabeth’s 60th year on the throne—her diamond anniversary—the monarchy will open several exhibitions throughout 2012. One of note: “Diamonds: A Jubilee Celebration,” set to open at Buckingham Palace this summer, which will feature the Queen’s vast collection of the anniversary’s signature stone. The exhibition will explore “the many ways in which diamonds have been used by British monarchs over the last 200 years,” the Palace wrote. One showstopper will be a rare 23.6-carat pink diamond by Cartier, set in a brooch with 200 smaller diamonds, which was presented to the Queen in 1953, WWD reports. Talk about bling! David Beckham’s New Underwear Collection: See the Photos!

Lucky us: David Beckham is launching his own men’s underwear collection for H&M, and shots of the items—which the soccer star models himself—have just been released! The nine styles include briefs, boxers, henleys, tanks, and long johns, ranging from $13 to $30. “Collectively with my design team we spent time working on the feel, fit and style to ensure the product is not only something I would wear but one which I would be proud to put my name to,” Beckham said of the lineup. The first pieces will land in H&M men’s departments starting February 2nd, with more styles set to launch in future seasons. See David Beckham’s underwear modeling in the gallery now.
