Celebrities love Mary Katrantzou! The Greek-born, London-based designer launched her first ready-to-wear collection in 2008, and her instantly identifiable vibrant prints became a red carpet favorite ever since. “It’s flattering,” the designer told InStyle.com of seeing stars like Keira Knightley, Hailee Steinfeld, Claudia Schiffer, and Dianna Agron in her designs at the British Fashion Council’s London Show Rooms event in Los Angeles. “It makes you happy because you never have that perspective until you see the clothes on a woman. It’s always been a woman with a strong presence. It’s amazing.” Last month, her skills were recognized in a big way when the 28-year-old won the Emerging Talent Award at British Fashion Awards.
