Like Kate Middleton and Dita Von Teese, Ali Larter isn’t afraid to take her wardrobe for multiple spins on the red carpet. Over the weekend, she hosted a celebration honoring Alain Mikli’s new Los Angeles boutique and benefit for The Art of Elysium at her Hollywood Hills home in an Alberta Ferretti little white scoopneck dress featuring a geometric design—the same look she wore to the designer’s runway show at III° Edition of Cali Expo in Colombia in October. “I love this dress,” Larter told InStyle.com. “I thought it was so beautiful. It was one of those moments where I thought, ‘I’m wearing that baby again!’” And she advises everyone to follow her lead. “It’s such a bummer in my business when you wear something and you’re not supposed to wear it again,” she said. “I’m like, ‘No way!’” Agreed!

Except for the railroad tracks on her chest, it is a very lovely frock. And, most of us in the real world must wear our dresses over and over and over again, so, I like this austerity. I do not like the boney chest. The actresses are getting too thin and painful to look at again. Believe me, the Rachel Zoe look is not one to emulate, so, please quit it. Some of us have thicker bones that do not look good on display.

OK, so those are actually two different dresses, right? Or maybe it was altered? They have the same elements, but the drape is very different, and not just in that way that body changes would cause it to be different. That said, I totally agree that it isn’t a big deal to wear the same dress more than once. I mean, for pete’s sake.
