Jennifer Garner is InStyle’s January cover girl! In this issue, the actress, producer, and soon-to-be mom of three clues us in to her secret to happiness (and sanity). One key element—her support system, husband Ben Affleck. “I don’t know how or why it works as well as it does,” Garner says of her relationship. “Honestly, I would do anything for that man, because I know it’s not taken for granted,” she adds. And their family is growing—daughters Seraphina and Violet will get another sibling any minute now. “I wish I was one of those cute pregnant girls who wear skinny jeans throughout their pregnancies,” says Garner. “But I just gain weight. I’m trying really hard to be mindful, but when I’m making the kids mac and cheese, I want it badly.” As for where you’ll see her next, check out Butter, a movie she produced and stars in, hitting theaters in 2012. “I identified with her loss of identity,” she says of her character. “You identify with your career then become a mom and put everything you have into the happiness of those kids. And though I wouldn’t change it for anything, you lose part of yourself.” For more of our exclusive interview with Jennifer Garner, pick up the new January issue of InStyle, on newsstands Friday.

I’m so glad you chose to put such a classy , beautiful and family oriented woman on your cover!!!! She is beautiful, funny, the girl next door type and dedicated to her husband and kids…. It’s refreshing to see and hear of a celebrity couple still in love after 72 days …. 7 yrs!!!!!!!!!!
They are a down to earth couple who shows their love for one another just by looking at them and their commitment to their girls… LOVE THIS COUPLE!!!!
So sick of all the negative celebrity stories about time someone puts something readable and sets a GOOD example for people out there…

I love that having “your year” involves putting more effort into cosmetic self improvement and “being more fun.” Just be more fun. Don’t have more fun. Be more fun for other people. I’m sorry, but none of this sounds like having “your year.”

I ilke her very much.

She is so incredibly fake, of course she has no identity she lets ben walk all over her. just to keep the facade of a marriage together.

Wrong choice, Jennifer is not an empowered woman she looks like a little wife from the fifties.

I admire Jennifer for taking so much garbage from Ben. He comes to Vegas often and rents good looking young girls for the night to perform cunnilingus. One thing on his favor is that he is really good at it. Maybe that’s why JenGar stays with him
