Black Friday 2011: Projected to Reach $20 Billion in Sales!

Sales are projected to hit $20.3 billion, WWD reports, which would make it the first $20 billion day in U.S. retail history. And retailers are quick to provide the incentives, with stores opening Thanksgiving night and offering larger-than-life promotions. The tactics seem to be working—17 percent of those polled said they will shop on Black Friday, as opposed to last year’s 12 percent. Are you one of them?
