Amy Adams is InStyle’s December cover girl! In this issue, we catch up with the three-time Oscar nominee to find out the secret to balancing motherhood, love, and work in a single bound. “I’m definitely not one of those women who make it look easy,” she says. “But I’m more patient than I ever thought I would be, and I’m not hard on myself anymore.” And there’s a lot for the perpetually-cheerful actress to cheer for lately: Her latest movie, The Muppets, comes out November 23rd, and she’s cast as Lois Lane in the next Superman movie. Her greatest role, however, is as mom to 19-month-old daughter Aviana Olea, who she raises with her actor and artist fiancé (since 2008) Darren Le Gallo. One thing she learned from parenthood so far? Know when to cut yourself a break. “I read about these actresses who get on a stationary bike two weeks after giving birth and I’m like, ‘What? Where did you push your baby out of?’ Since having Aviana, I have a muffin top, and that’s OK right now.”  For more of our exclusive interview with Amy Adams, pick up the new December issue of InStyle, on newsstands Friday.

I love Amy Adams…but I would not recognize that cover photo as her. Why is she photoshopped beyond recognition? Her eyes have been made more cat-like and the fuller shape of her cheeks is gone. Editors put celebs on the covers of magazines because we (readers) like those people and want to read about them. Get that? We already like them. No need to retouch the uniqueness out of them.

I love the non-cover photo, though. Amy Adams has been styled and well-lit, but still looks like her charming self.

Totally agree with Diana’s comment. We (usually) already like the people on your magazine covers. I would find it much more refreshing if Amy Adams was not photoshopped. I would buy your magazine purely in support of your lack of photoshop. Adams doesn’t even look recognizable. I had to read further to know it was even her.

All of our hair is temple hair, meaning it was cut from the temple and not mixed in the process, all hair is kept aligned in the same direction. This process is very important! If hair cuticle is not all aligned in the same direction, it will start to tangle as soon as you wash it. Some hair may look very nice when you first receive it, but after a few washes it becomes dull, dry and start to tangle, you can brush all you want and the minute you stop brushing it will just tangle again and will have that “Birds Nest” look to it the minute you stop brushing it. This means that the hair is not temple hair! it is hair that has been collected from different donors, some cuticles facing up and some down, basically “LEFT OVERS” all the tangling in your hair is the effect of using cheap leftovers hair!
