Vera Wang always pushes the boundaries of bridal—last season she showed off green, gray, and pink dresses—and her new collection features wedding gowns done in nude and black, two decidedly non-traditional colors. The lack of white (and any basque-waist ballgown like she designed for Kim Kardashian’s wedding day) proved this collection was made for brides who are looking for something unique. “A wedding is a joyous event, and the bride’s dress should always reflect that,” she once told InStyle.com. See Vera Wang’s entire fall 2012 bridal collection in the gallery.

The line is very diappointing. I have seen beautiful gowns that were not white but these dresses are not pretty at all. That dark nude color is ugly. It might be better in a blush or champagne but that dark nude, YUCK. I think they are horrible and I am normally a big fan of Vera Wang.

Actually, I could barely notice the color of the gowns, as I was so distracted by the terrible hair of the models. AGGH!
Most of the designs were magnificent If I could just have seen them in blush, rose, champagne, sky blue, or even
even navy. Black doesn’t do it for a wedding.
