Kelly Killoren Bensimon to Launch Line of Ballet Flats
Oct 28, 2011 @ 6:00 pmThe Real Housewives of New York star Kelly Killoren Bensimon is launching a line of ballet flats! “After being on Housewives, everyone was commenting on my flats, and I realized that there was a void in the market,” she tells InStyle.com. “I wanted to create something that I love and that people are interested in.” So, she teamed up with footwear company BBC International to create Kelly by Kelly Killoren Bensimon, an assortment of ballerinas in bright hues and animal patterns for $40 a pair. The colorful collection is also for a cause—for every pair sold, she will donate $3 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. “I am grateful to have the opportunity to channel my two passions: philanthropy and style,” she says. The collection hits stores this spring.
