Kate Middleton’s Dress: Amanda Wakeley!
Oct 28, 2011 @ 3:30 pmCatherine, Duchess of Cambridge pulled from Amanda Wakeley’s previous collections to find the formal evening gown look she wore to an event honoring the Prince Charles-founded charity In Kind Direct in London this week. The British designer originally showed off the look as part of her fall 2006 collection, and sent it down the runway in a shade of pale ivory-yellow with black criss-crossing beaded straps. The update for the Duchess included changing the color to a shade of ice blue, adding silver beads rather than black, and moving the waist up to right beneath the bustline.
