Jill Zarin’s New Shapewear Line: Now in Stores

Oct 19, 2011 @ 5:45 pm

Jill Zarin’s new shapewear line Skweez Couture just launched at Lord & Taylor, and we caught up with the Real Housewives of New York alum to get the inside scoop. “Everybody needs shapewear,” she told InStyle.com. “Shapewear isn’t just to suck you in; it’s to smooth you out.” That’s why, after wearing tons of different shapewear brands, she created her own solution. “I wanted my shapewear to be both functional and feminine—something that wouldn’t make you uncomfortable when you’re taking off your clothes,” she said. “It was easier to give birth to my daughter than to launch this line, and I’m so happy it’s here.” Shop the collection of pull-it-in items for $20 to $48 at lordandtaylor.com, and preview her available styles in the gallery.

Nicole Richie New Shorter Haircut

Oct 19, 2011 @ 3:05 pm

Nicole Richie’s long hair just got a little shorter! “I felt like I wanted to take a little length off,” the designer told InStyle.com at a luncheon celebrating Dior’s latest beauty collection yesterday. However, knocking off a few inches requires different maintenance. Her secret? “When I get out of the shower, I twist my hair and put it up. I let the roots air dry, then I take it down after a few hours,” she explained. “It creates a nice wave.” Do you like the look?
