Emmanuelle Chriqui’s Shorts Made of Recycled Shoes
Oct 17, 2011 @ 3:15 pmEmmanuelle Chriqui took the stage to host the Environment Media Awards in Los Angeles this weekend wearing a pair of shorts with a unique fabric—recycled footwear. “They’re made out of the leather from old shoes,” the Entourage actress told InStyle.com on the red green carpet of her Alexx Jae & Milk bottoms. The designers behind the line, Alexx Jae Monkarsh and Bari Milken Bernstein, launched the eco-friendly label last year, and every piece is made in L.A. with locally-sourced fabric. “I wear Alexx Jae & Milk because they’re friends of mine that I want to support,” Chriqui added. “I’m still learning about eco-friendly fashion. But these are fun, and different.” See (and shop) pieces from the line at shopatmilk.com.
