Meet Bhutan’s Kate Middleton! The country’s King Jigme, 31, married college student Jetsun Pema, 21, yesterday, making her Queen of Bhutan. The colorful Buddhist wedding was broadcast live to the country’s 700,000 residents. The bride wore traditional Kira robes, which took three years to weave. After the ceremony, set in a Himalayan fortress, the royals went outside to shake hands with their citizens—Pema in a new silk-covered crown.
