D&G to Fold: Our Favorite Looks From the Final Collection

D&G is no longer. Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana confirmed they will shutter the label and plan to fold it into their main line Dolce & Gabbana, WWD reports. That means the spring 2012 collection that hit the runway during Milan Fashion Week today is the final lineup that will ever make it into stores. So, what can you expect? The D&G elements you’ve come to know and love. Bright, happy colors like pink, gold and blue make up the color palette, while pieces include sexy chiffon maxi dresses, halter tops, and printed skirts. Ankle-tie scarf wedges, beach-ready sun hats, and shoulder-sweeping gold earrings finished each look. Nicole Richie’s 30th Birthday Presents: Balenciaga and More!

Nicole Richie turned 30 yesterday, and InStyle.com caught up with the designer to talk (what else?) birthday loot. “My friend Kelly got me an Alaia belt, which is very beautiful, and my friend Diana bought me some Balenciaga shoes,” she told us before hitting up her birthday bash thrown by Samsung, where she snapped this TwitPic. “I’m going to have to go out so people can check out my new kicks!” As for husband Joel Madden, he gifted her a piece of art by the artist Revok, while the couple’s two children Sparrow and Harlow went the DIY route. “They both just made me stuff,” Richie explained. “I hear that your 30s are the best years of your life,” she added, “so I’m just super excited to enter this new chapter.” What a great start!

L’Oreal Launches Project Runway Makeup!

Project Runway and L’Oreal Paris teamed up to create a cosmetics collection! L’Oreal consulting makeup artist and Project Runway regular Collier Strong developed the limited-edition “Colors Take Flight” line. The assortment includes eye shadows, lipsticks, blushes and nail polishes in rich fall shades inspired by the coloring of exotic birds. Gucci designer Frida Giannini described her spring 2012 collection as “hard deco,” and a deco-glam look definitely took over the runway with sleek suiting, drop-waist dresses, and flapper fringe. Black and gold heels and playful flats embellished with enamel animals completed each look, as well as chain-strap bags, gold chokers and weighty bracelets. Annie Ilonzeh Talks Charlie’s Angels Style

Charlie’s Angels premieres tonight, and we caught up with Annie Ilonzeh, who plays cop-turned-Angel Kate Prince, to give us the inside scoop on the new show. “You can expect more action than the original Charlie’s Angels,” she told InStyle.com. “But you’re still going to have the three girls that have a great relationship.” So how does Ilonzeh’s style compare to her character’s? “She’s stylish, but she’s also athletic,” she explained. “I’m a super tomboy. I’m really good with sweats, not really good with heels, and not really good with accessorizing yet.
