We knew the First Lady liked to show off her arms, and now we know she’ll change designer dresses to do it! Michelle Obama first wore this Derek Lam coffee-hued printed frock with three-quarter sleeves for a dinner in Indonesia last November, but when she showed up to the National Design Awards in Washington, D.C. this week, she converted it into a sleeveless look. Talk about alterations! So, which style do you like better: With sleeves or without? Cast your vote in the poll below!

It’s a great alteration and I LOVE her hair! Way to be economical.

What us with the silver spoons in her ears?

Love it! That’s what style is all about anyway – making clothes YOURS, not just tossing on a designer dress. Mrs. Obama knows how to make things work for her and her body, and that’s something everyone should learn. :)

Definitely sleeveless. She looks great.

Sleeveles, gosh! it looks so good and she looks great in it.

The real problem lies in the over-accessorized version of the original dress! Her arms look fine, but she needs to know that sleeveless isn’t always appropriate. I think she looks worlds better in either version of this dress than her usual combination of very full skirt and shrunken cardi. Not good with her figure. Can’t a stylist show her what’s flattering to her shape?

I found any blog’s website link offered by the good friend in Facebook. We appreciate you adding useful facts about the net. It’s challenging to get these false claims at present.

Sure looks better without sleeves, but would look better if the dress print wasn’t so ugly.
All in all I hate the dress. period….
