Designers and shoppers alike are feeling Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge‘s ladylike looks, and the New York Times has a name for her style twins—RepliKates! ”We are definitely returning to a time when we want things that are more timeless and polished, not looking a mess,” stylist Rachel Zoe said of Middleton’s influence. Tell us, are you inspired by Catherine’s prim and proper fashion sense? Let us know by voting in the poll below!

Notice how the clothes she wears and the dresses in particular cover her arms. She always looks so comfortably elegant. Designers take note!!!

Honestly, I have always preferred to dress like this. I’m not one to follow trends but I wear what looks good on my body and that I like. It’s kind of irritating to be labeled as a follower when I’ve always dressed this way. As if a princess has the monopoly on timeless?

I’m sorry I just think she dresses so plain. But I guess she has no choice. I do not get the hype about her, except that she’s a princess but her sister I don’t get that one either. They are plain

I love the fact that looking timeless and classic is now more fashionable!

Fashion magazines never had anything to offer me because I never aspired to look like the Olsen twins. I tried to dress appropriate for work, though with a young version of the classic work attire. With Kate as a role model I am now adding more details to my style, but more comfortable with my non-fashionable style, since I feel a lot less “boring” than I did before now that it is fashionable to dress that way :)

I think her style is GORGEOUS!!! I respect everyones taste and looks. I think negative comments against Kate are just blindness or envy.

I love her looks! She knows how to dress simple yet elegant, classic yet modern. Some people think that, to be in style, they must dress like Lady Gaga – but sometimes less is more, and Kate’s flawless style is proof of it.

No, but her style is so classically elegant that it is has mass appeal… I do love her style :-)

I’m like many of the others here (with the exception I’m probably a few years older)…I grew up in the late ’80s and ’90s and was a pure preppy girl – I’ve dressed like this for years, have never been called frumpy or outdated, and always receive tons of compliments from men in the process. Many have told me it’s nice to see someone who dresses for herself and not everyone else. I know what looks good on me, and that’s what I wear. I’m glad to see such a lovely young lady having a positive effect on fashion – ladies, men actually DO prefer you leave a bit to the imagination, regardless of what the media may tell you. MAD MEN is also helping the case for this.
