Iman’s BFF Bracelet for Charity

Iman wears her bracelet for a cause! The supermodel just launched her Modelinia Beautiful Friends Forever (BFF) bracelets by nOir Jewelry, and pal Christy Turlington was on hand to support Iman at the launch party last night. All of the proceeds from the $35 bands will be donated to Save the Children, an organization dedicated to treating malnourished children in East Africa, including Iman’s home country of Somalia. Runway Looks We Love: BCBG Max Azria

Designer Max Azria kicked off New York Fashion Week by sending an effortlessly chic BCBG collection down the Spring 2012 runway. The lineup featured mostly floaty dresses with sporty peek-a-boo cutouts, accessorized with chunky platforms and chic day-to-night clutches. Global-inspired prints and shots of bold brights like cobalt, acid yellow, and turquoise brightened up otherwise soft neutrals for frocks as well as the occasional pant and jumpsuit. Elizabeth Taylor’s Jewelry Auction: More Details!

Elizabeth Taylor’s dazzling jewelry collection is almost on the auction block! New York auction house Christies just announced a date: Beginning December 13th, it will put a total of 269 jewels up for bid, estimated to be worth more than $30 million. Among the sparklers are Taylor’s 33.19-carat Asscher-cut Krupp Diamond, her 16th-century La Peregrina pearl, and the Bulgari emerald and diamond necklace gifted by Richard Burton (shown). The auction will take place over five days in December.

Remember when Blake Lively suddenly turned up as a redhead earlier this year? While the Gossip Girl star is currently back to blond, the result of her ginger period is now heading to the big screen. Lively dyed her strands for the upcoming movie Hick, co-starring Chloe Moretz, and a photo of her strawberry-blond character was just released (shown). “Blake and I named this shade Fire Opal, after one of her favorite stones,” Lively’s longtime colorist Rona O’Connor told InStyle.com. Kourtney Kardashian’s ultimate styling tip is… alter everything! ”We alter all of our clothes,” the eldest Kardashian sister told InStyle.com at the launch of her Kardashian Kollection for Sears in New York this week. “I’m short, and I always need to alter everything and I alter a lot of what I wear,” she explained. “I’ll even cut things. Or, I’ll guesstimate it and I’ll have my assistant get it hemmed for me because I don’t have time.” (Case in point: She trimmed an Ani Lee dress wore this year, shown.) So is there anything she hasn’t altered? The clothes she designed herself! “The Kardashian Kollection fits me perfect. I didn’t need to change one thing.”
