Between the Facebook comments and Twitter responses over Kim Kardashian’s wedding hairstyle, the reaction is split on whether you liked the reality star’s diamond headpiece by Lorraine Schwartz. Fashion entrepreneur Iman admitted she was a bit surprised by the look herself. “When she pulls her hair back she looks so classic, so I thought she would pick something more classic,” the supermodel told InStyle.com at the launch of her Platinum collection for HSN in New York yesterday. “But then I thought, it’s her fairytale. It’s her wedding. She can do what she wants, and she did!

Her hairstyle and “headband” look very ethnic to me [reflecting her father's heritage]. Very chic. Refreshing to see something unique and different.

I thought it was gorgeous. It showed off her bone structure and her eyes, which are stunning, and I think it looked exotic and seemed to me to be a tribute to her Armenian father, whom I am certain she missed terribly that day. In fact, that was my first thought: her father would have loved the way she looked as a bride.

And I am NOT a Kardashian fan in any sense of the word, but she was and is beautiful, and I think this simple hairstyle and headpiece just showcased that all the more.

She looks very Elizabeth Taylor-ish.

I didn’t like the headpiece. It looked cheap even though I am sure it cost a lot.

Every bride looks beautiful on their wedding day and so is she.. I’m just happy for her =)

It looks “ethnic.” Um… What a problematic statement. The head- piece is okay and if I could prove it was “Armenian inspired” or a nod to her armenian heritage, I would say that versus saying it looks ethnic, which means nothing and is a bit ignorant.
