Kim Kardashian pulled her strands back into a sleek updo, and fastened on a glittering diamond Lorraine Schwartz headpiece for her August 20th wedding. (The sparkling topper matched her earrings, wedding band, and engagement ring, and in total, she wore a total of $10 million worth of jewels by the designer.) The hairstyle is different from her quintessential long waves, which makes us wonder: How would you have preferred Kim’s wedding day hairstyle—the sleek updo or her signature look? Vote in the poll below to let us know!

No ones hair looks attractive blue, bright red, yellow, green or other outlandish combinations. I am sure concert hair has to be special, but coloring it those ugly colors is not the answer for maximum beauty.

For such an occasion, I love that she put her hair in an updo. Having it down seems too casual and she’s seen in that classic look ALL the time! Her head piece and style looked beautiful!

I think she should have left her hair down. But she could have pulled it back and cover the sides of the hair piece and have her hair in a bunch of free wavy curls. It would have been in more of her tradition on her fathers ancestries. I mean that is what she was going for. He hair pulled back makes her looks stiff. She needed the more flowing to go with what she was trying to show. But still shelooked very pretty.

I don’t think it worked on any level. Her hair could have still been up and yet softer. I think the diamond headpiece looked ridiculous – as if she had put a necklace on there at the last minute – and her make-up was even heavier than usual, if that’s at all possible. Had she gone for a ‘cleaner’, softer and more romantic look, it would have been more of departure from her usual heavy-handed approach and quite special for a wedding day look. Her mother’s dress was the nicest on the day, I think.

she is gross. period. end of discussion.

I think with all that beautiful hair, her up-do is a let down. I can not decide if it looks matronly or incomplete. The head piece is laughable. With the world at her finger tips and her impeccable style, I would expect better. With that being said, she is beautiful and I can wait for all the dress details and to see the photos.

A loose updo would have looked better. Her hair just looks very stiff and boring.

Her headpiece almost looked kind of Bohemian but I actually wonder if she was going for the Cleopatra look. It doesn’t match up…

She should have left the head piece at the boutique. Undo was nice besides that.

I love how she borrowed a little from Eastern/Indian brides for her hairdo.

We love it! Though she does have long beautiful locks, your wedding day is an opportunity to depart from your typical look. Though you should feel like yourself, it’s a chance to also feel like a princess-version of yourself!

the head piece was fabulous with her immaculate bun , it was complimentary with her dress. it was her day to glow in the spotlight and that she did..
