Desperate Housewives Will End After Season Eight

ABC announced on Sunday that Desperate Housewives will end its run in May, after eight seasons. “This season of #DesperateHousewives will be the last. We will miss those ladies on Wisteria Lane but can’t wait to see the final season!” the network tweeted. The show, which debuted in 2004, brought superstardom to leading ladies Teri Hatcher, Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman and Marcia Cross. “I hope Desperate Housewives never ends. I love this job. It’s so fulfilling,” Longoria told InStyle in her July cover issue. Will you tune in to the final season of Desperate Housewives? Tell us in the comments!

I don’t like the fact that the show is going off the air after this season. First ABC took Brothers and Sisters and now Desperate Housewives is leaving. YES I will watch the last season of DH! whats next ABC?

This is my favorite show and (during the season) every week I wait for Sunday to watch this show. Now, what will I wait for? Sundays will be sad again. I can’t believe this will be the last season. Of course, I will watch this season of Desperate Housewives. I wish ABC come up with another show with all these Wisteria Lane Ladies. I love every character in this show. They make me laugh out loud and I will miss that a lot.

IT’S FUNNY HOW U BECOME SO ATTACHED TO THIS TYPE OF WEEKLY SHOW.
WHEN SURPRANOS ENDED I FELT EMPTY LIKE IT WAS A PART OF MY LIFE GONE.
ABSOLUTE MORE ATTACHED TO DESPRERATE HOUSEWIFE AS IF THEY REALLY WHERE
MY CLOSE FRIENDS AND I WILL NEVER SEE THEM AGAIN.

I DONT WATCH TOO MUCH TV BUT NEVER MISS THE HOUSEWIVES-AND CRY TO THINK LYNETTE AND
TOM SEPARATED. LOVE IT HOPE THEY MAKE A MOVE.

Is everyone as disappointed and upset as I was to see that Mike was the one who died last night? WTF? So hope the season finale doesn’t leave us all hanging and upset!

I truly enjoyed the antics of Desperate Housewives because of the continuing drama that took place each episode. The actors and actress truly brought their characters out with each scene. I will admit that it is another soap opera that I will dearly miss and that I wish it could remain with new storylines.
