Venice Film Festival: See the Red Carpet Photos!

The 68th Venice Film Festival kicked off today! Cindy Crawford matched her beaded Roberto Cavalli gown and upped the sparkle with Chopard jewels for The Ides of March premiere. Diane Kruger also attended the event in a cream Elie Saab frock, which she teamed with textured waves and delicate baubles. US Open 2011 Tennis Outfits: New Looks!

After two days at the US Open, we’re seeing more sporty neon court gear. French Open champion Li Na chose a red and tan Nike ensemble for her match against unseeded Romanian player Simona Halep, who wore pink and aqua Adidas separates for the event. Priscilla of Boston to Close Stores, Discontinue Labels

Sad news for brides: David’s Bridal Holdings Co. announced today that all Priscilla of Boston labels and 19 salons are closing by the end of 2011. The collections that are discontinued include Priscilla of Boston, Platinum by Priscilla of Boston, The Dress by Priscilla of Boston, Jewel by Priscilla of Boston, Melissa Sweet, Reverie by Melissa Sweet, and the Vineyard Collection. In an official statement, David’s Bridal told us:

“After nearly 65 years of serving America’s most beautiful brides, we have made the difficult decision to close Priscilla of Boston salons and the Priscilla of Boston portfolio of brands. This decision allows us to focus our resources on our sister division, David’s Bridal, to further accelerate David’s growth and strengthen our industry leadership.”

If you’ve already ordered your dress, all orders will be fulfilled “with the same care, love and diligence as we have over the last many years,” as salons remain open through December. In the meantime, look back at the latest looks from the Priscilla of Boston labels in the gallery, and share your Priscilla memories in the comments.

Kim Kardashian’s Vera Wang Wedding Looks: Coming to David’s Bridal!

Two of Kim Kardashian‘s Vera Wang wedding looks are coming to David’s Bridal next February! The ballgown Kim wore for the ceremony and the mermaid gown she wore for her first dance will be part of Wang’s line for the retailer, and each look-alike will be priced under $1,600. The designer told E! News that while the copies won’t look exactly like Kim’s bridal styles, they “will certainly capture that sense of old-fashioned romance” from the originals. Ryan Reynolds and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley took a break from the big screen to heat up Marks & Spencer‘s latest ads! The British retailer tapped the pair to star in the fall campaign for its new Autograph collection. “On set, they worked together to deliver a mesmerizing performance which allowed us to capture shots that literally sizzle with excitement and an air of mystery,” Steve Sharp, M&S’s executive director, told The Daily Mail.
