Jun 8, 2011 @ 3:00 pmBurberry offered up punky takes on British classics—think teal leather trench coats and party dresses done up in acid brights—for the label’s latest resort collection. “With our iconic heritage as the foundation, we really wanted to emphasize this feeling of artisanal and decorative pieces that had been touched by hand, celebrating craftsmanship but always with a playful element,” designer Christopher Bailey told WWD of the collection’s inspiration.
