Oscar de la Renta presented his new Picasso-inspired Resort 2012 collection in New York City yesterday. Graphic artist-like prints appeared on dresses, skirts, and jackets, as well as belts, necklaces, and hats. Vibrant, saturated colors popped off the runway, like aqua, canary, emerald, and cherry. Aside from day outfits, evening looks featured the same lively elements, only in gown form—off-the-shoulder silhouettes (one with a thigh-high slit), polka dot fabrics, and hues of strawberry, blush, and green.
