Dina Manzo may have left the cast of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but now the reality star is going back into the spotlight! Manzo is filming a new series called Dina’s Party for HGTV, which will follow her event company Designer Affair as they transform clients’ homes into lavish party venues. The network’s general manager said in a statement on Friday: “Dina is an accomplished interior designer and also runs a thriving event planning business—her Real Housewives fans will be surprised to see this side of her.” Details are still under wraps, but we do know that the show is expected to premiere in September. Tell us, will you be tuning in?

Loved her as a housewife. I will tune in.

She is very classy, Can’t wait to see the show.

I am sure it won’t last long. She has very “JERSEY” taste. Most of America isn’t impressed with feathers and sparkles. I have seen many events in NYC that would knock the socks off of her work. She is tacky.

-Jessica on April 12th, 2011

I agree with Jessica about the “Jersey” tastes. Nobody is into that so-called “style” but people from Jersey. Plus she was boring on RHONJ, so she’s likely to boring on her new show.

-Sasha on April 12th, 2011

Oh, here we go with the comments about NY vs. NJ. Jessica and Sasha:Not all people from New Jersey are tacky. Not all people from New York are the epitome of taste and style. Let’s just look at this show for what it is: entertainment! Most (but not all) programs are bubble gum for the brain to distract us from these trying times. If we encouraged one another instead of being so quick to judge one another maybe this world would be a better place.

Right on, Leah! Unless you were living in a cave, Jersey is hot!! I first saw Dina on My Big Fabulous Wedding, and loved her story. On the RHONJ, she was lovely and classy, not boring. And contrary to what Wendy Williams says, The Brownstone will not be featured, but her event company Designer Affair will transform clients’ homes into lavish party venues.

I for one will be watching…she is the best.

Bleh. She has such tacky taste. They all do.

-instylecom on April 14th, 2011

^Says the person who hides behind the “instylecom” moniker. I know everyone has an opinion, but would you be going in for the kill if she was from a different state? As tacky as everyone says she is, she must be doing something right to get your attention, or else why are you commenting? I, for one, feel the need to say something because my state gets such a bad reputation. Are people really that ignorant to generalize that everyone from NJ acts or dresses like the people on these so-called New Jersey “reality” shows?
