Cate Blanchett‘s new film Hanna hits theaters today, and we’re excited to see her play Marissa Wiegler—a tenacious intelligence officer after young assassin Hanna (Saoirse Ronan). To match her character’s fiery personality, Blanchett wears an auburn wig for the movie. “I’ve actually been a redhead quite a few times in film, and it was really important to find a shade that worked with my skin tone,” the actress told InStyle exclusively. “In Hanna, going red was director Joe Wright’s idea, but I decided the cut of the wig.” Blanchett has rocked red hair off-screen, but when we asked her if she’d ever dye it again, she told us, “Probably not for a while.
