I was totally shocked at the elimination of Pia…It is an outrage and so wrong. What needs to be done is an overhauling of the voting system for American Idol…it is being taken over by teeny boppers and college kids who only want rockers to win and they are abusing the system,,,,,,,,,,,,it is a disgrace. There should also be a limited on how many times you can vote for one contestant and a limit on voting to 10 votes..just like America’s Got Talent. The voting process has been hijacked. Look at who has won in the last four or five years? Who do you really remember? The runners up are more successful than the winners. It is because of the voting system and American Idol better do something because they are going to lose their audience. I did not watch last year because they had mediocre talent but this year my interest was renewed but now that I see what is going on, I am totally disalusioned and disgusted. Also the panel has to be a little more critical…they have to…not everyone gave stellar performances week to week…I believe they made a huge mistake rescuing Casey and using that SAVE vote…big mistake…He is not attractive; his voice is mediocre and he is really only good to be a part of a band or a lounge singer…not a top headliner…..Pia has something…she needs some guidance but she has something…Something has to be done..The oducers better do something next year as now this could end up being a real scandal…The elimination of Pia Toscano was a travesty; it was wrong and it was because these college kids; these teeny boppers want to vote in inadequate talent like Casey, like Paul; Come on, they are talented but not super talented….Pia had the IT factor…she had something just like Jennifer Hudson did…so I think a good overhaul of the voting system of AI next season.

She will be fine, usually the eliminated contestants go on to do better than the winners.

I wasn`t shocked. When she was elimenated I had A feeling the fix was on. If you don`t gyrate around all over the stage & screem uninteligable lyrics Do you think anybodys going to vote for you? not in this day&age! You`ve got to be a cute bubblegumer type of guy in order for all the girls to vote for you.The teenybopper girls are doing the voting. to heck with talent. Do you see any talent on stage nowdays? They crank out gibberish a mile a minute on their latest c ds & call the trash music& 6mo. down the road nobody remembers their name. That`s what passes for todays entertainment. How many of them will last as long as Neil Diamond, Aretha Frankland, Frank Sinatra, Barbara Striesand,Or nora Jones. I doubt hardly any of them could. There`s hardly any quality entertainment anymore.I always said americans don`t have taste, the sleazier the better.Just look around you.

By now surely the producers of American Idol must have a pretty good idea the current method of voting is not working. When clearly a superb talent is voted off, something is totally wrong. The reactions of the truly excellent judges reflect the nations disapointment. I realize that because Pia is so tallented, she will of course have a chance to continue under contract with a great production company. But that does not justify the loss of her chances to be the American Idol. One save for the judges is not good enough, they should be able to save anyone they choose. A little more time and additional preformances will bring out the best from the least talented. American Idol will lose out to another show unless they get ahold of themselves and correct this problem. Multiple voting is absolutely the wrong direction they should be going with this and this has been very evident for the last few years. It is very difficult to see the injustice to these young tallented people, relying on their future by such a poor voting construction. I sincerely hope that those making the decisions on American Idol are wise enough to realize that attention to the contraversay is not going to maximize their ratings. It might for a short time but in the long run, someone else will come along with a better coordinated and orchestrated system and their ratings will plummet.

I am very disappointed that such a talent was allowed to be voted off the show. If A.I. doesn’t address this problem soon, I fear that they will no longer have a show or a situation to fix!!!!

American Idol should not let true talent like Pia get away. They must correct the voting system for true talent. We already have a misfit government voting system we don’t need another. Perhaps more true diva judges and lesson the value of the public votes.
The TV audience who dedicate their time to watching want FAIRNESS, a word that almost does not exist today. We all like to listen to the judges and this will help to increase popularity.

The best person won! Scotty has more star potential and ability than Pia or anyone else on that show…We saw them all in concert and Scotty was def the best presentation. Pia…she is good and a lovely young woman but as I said the best one took home the honors… : )

the people who win are usually there because they can be manipulated usually
the actual talent needed to be as successful as say Frank Sinatra goes far beyond just having “a good voice”

in the modern world any decent sound engineer can make anyone sound alot better than they really are, todays artists need to be multi talented in all areas of the music industry if they dont want their strings pulled my mr cowell
