Isaac Mizrahi knows the perfect accessory to complement a spring dress—cake! The designer appeared on last night’s fashion-themed episode of Cake Boss, where he tasked pastry chef Buddy Valastro with making seven fashion-inspired confections for his fall 2011 runway show, which filmed February 17th. Mizrahi wanted his models to carry the cakes down the catwalk, and the show’s dessert geniuses decided to make them out of styrofoam so they would be light enough to carry without toppling over.
