Warners Bros. announced that it cast The Tudors star Henry Cavill (inset) as Clark Kent/Superman in the new Superman: Man of Steel movie back in January, and now they found his Lois Lane! Today, the studio announced it cast Amy Adams as Lois Lane for the 2012 movie, the Los Angeles Times reports, a part most recently played by Kate Bosworth in 2006′s Superman Returns. “There was a big, giant search for Lois,” director Zack Snyder said. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.” With Anne Hathaway slated to play Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises, 2012 is shaping up to be a big year for leading ladies in superhero blockbusters! I like her but I don’t think she’s right for the part..she seems older and less sexy than someone fit for Cavill..he’s so hot!
