Reese Witherspoon Wore Jimmy Choo Shoes on Her Wedding Day!

Reese Witherspoon married talent agent Jim Toth this past Saturday at her ranch in Ojai, California. The bride wore custom Monique Lhuillier, and while photos of the dress are still under wraps, we found out who designed her bridal shoes: Jimmy Choo! The label tells InStyle that Witherspoon wore the satin four-inch platform “Macy” sandals (inset). The style is shown for $645 on JimmyChoo.com, but is not available for online purchase.

Jessica Simpson Wants to Design Her Wedding Dress!

Pop-star-turned-fashion-mogul Jessica Simpson is ready for her next design challenge: creating her wedding dress! “I will be part of designing my own wedding gown,” she told WWD. Simpson and her fiancé, ex-NFL player Eric Johnson, got engaged last November, but they haven’t set a date yet. “We’ve both been married before. We’re enjoying our commitment to each other,” Simpson said. “We might elope.” The pair seems to favor a mix of dressy and casual looks when they go out (sky-high heels, oversize bags, and lots of sparkle for Simpson; dark denim, button-downs and bow ties for Johnson), so we’re excited to see them glammed up on their big day… whenever that may be! Jenny McCarthy Designs Shoe for Charity!

Jenny McCarthy has played many roles in her lifetime, and her latest gig is being a shoe designer! The comedian designed a pair of studded pumps for ShoeDazzle.com, the Kim Kardashian-founded footwear website, which she named “Fearless.” The entire profits from sales of the $39.95 shoes will be donated to Generation Rescue, a non-profit parent-founded organization that supports families with autism, where McCarthy serves as president. McCarthy’s son was diagnosed with autism in 2005. “We all need to be fearless in our lives—whether it’s standing up for a meaningful cause or just being bold in our fashion choices,” she said in a statement. The shoes hit ShoeDazzle.com on April 21st, in honor of Autism Awareness Month.

Jennifer Lopez pulled out another amazing wardrobe during American Idol’s Motown-themed episodes on March 23rd 24th, and InStyle has all of the exclusive details! We caught up with her magnificent styling team, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn to find out what she wore—and why. On Wednesday, Lopez wore a Rodarte for Opening Ceremony skirt, Dries Van Noten sequin top, Ruthie Davis shoes, and Stephen Webster jewelry. “Jennifer looks so great in light colors, and she loved the short flirty skirt,” Haenn told InStyle of the look. On Thursday, she reached for a black and gold dress and shoes by Gucci and jewelry by Amrita Singh. “We’ve been waiting for the perfect time to showcase this dress,” Zangardi explained, “Jennifer always looks so hot in Gucci! The gold chain detail was our favorite part.” Ours, too!

The actress, 46, will play Clark Kent’s adoptive mother in the new Superman: Man of Steel movie due in 2012, which also cast Henry Cavill as Superman and (recently announced) Amy Adams as Lois Lane. So how does Lane keep her skin superhero strong? Her secret: Under-five-minute tricks. “There aren’t enough hours in a day for me to spend time worrying or fussing over my skin,” Lane, the new face of Neutrogena’s retinol-packed Rapid Wrinkle Repair line, told InStyle exclusively. Other than using the brand’s anti-wrinkle formula, Lane said the key is a quick fix that lasts, like groomed eyebrows, manicured fingernails and a loose low bun. “My five-minute makeup routine consists of a touch of mascara paired with a natural lip gloss and a quick sweep of a blush/bronzer duo,” Lane said. “Getting instant gratification with how you look is never a bad thing.”
