The First Lady should always looks stylish, but she should also be sensitive to what is appropriate. Considering Japan’s ongoing and worsening disaster, and the fact that the president in effect launched a third war in which American lives could be lost, I think neither the jaunt to South America, nor the bright colors worn by Mrs. Obama are appropriate. I have to say, it is galling to see the Obamas looking so carefree when there are disasters everywhere we look. If the trip was, in fact, necessary, then Mrs. Obama should have worn more muted and conservative clothing. She is not a movie star.

This is IN Style not the New York Times this is about fashion and they have done their job talking about The First Lady’s awesome her fashion sense. Should they insult the country they are visiting by sulking and being distraught? What would you like for them to do? I don’t think they are holding a party with all this going on I’m sure it’s on their minds just as it’s on everyone else’s.

I think her outfit was country appropriate. South American culture is all about the colors.

I think the focus should be more on Jesus and less on the clothes someone is wearing because regardless of what’s going on around the world only the Lord can fix it!!!!

Is being the First Lady a crime? If people are dying somewhere is she the one killing them? If Michele dresses well, they complain she’s extravagant. If she’s simply dressed, they’ll say she’s unofficious. Yes, if people are getting killed in Libya, is she the cause? Would she try to please the whole world?

Well, I may not know the secret of success, but a sure key to failure is trying to please everyone. For me, Michele is simply pleasant anyday – especially in this outfit. Ride on First Lady! You are Heaven’s gift to Barak. Keep fit as always.

What is all this nonsense about being happy and having fun while other people are dying? I am sure that the people posting nonsense like that, are at home having fun, enjoying their lifes and laugh day by day. So why are we not giving Mr and Mrs Obama the same right??

Well, the man to the left has all to do with the WAR going on in Libya. Who do you think is carrying the war to people who have done nothing to America or us as Americans? Unbelievable that you all are so blind to this fact. Why else would the generation of politicians declare WAR over Arab countries? But, of course all this is beside the point of interest here. I am Brazilian and it is very nice to see the attention given to her outfits while she was visiting our home. However, InStyle staff should pay more closely attention to spelling and researching when quoting cities and venues in Brazil. Here are the right names: Palácio DA Alvorada (literally Palace of Dawn, the official residence of the President of Brazil); CIDADE DE DEUS (literally City of God, a slum in the outskirts of Rio), and, of course, Rio de JANEIRO.

They continually try to change the focus of what these two have done since being in office, NOTHING! Was she telling the people in Brazil what to eat? I doubt it! He was too busy striking deals with the president of Brazil to drill oil of our Louisiana shores and kissing up to her because she’s a left wing radical like him. She was once thrown in jail for her views.If they want to be the “Great” example of a happily married couple and good parents, why are they not in Japan right now?
