Lady Gaga, ever the performance artist, performed in a different way yesterday in Paris—she took to the Thierry Mugler runway as a model! The pop superstar walked twice during the fashion show, first wearing a black outfit, and later closing the show in a white sheer turtleneck over a corset paired with a long body-hugging skirt. She used her thigh-skimming pigtails as accessories, whipping them around as she strutted to her hit single “Born This Way,” and she also gave the audience (and livestream watchers) a preview of new song “Government Hooker.” As for why she walked, it was to support one of her closest friends—her longtime stylist Nicola Formichetti—who is the new creative director and designer for Thierry Mugler.
