Lace is always a delicate, feminine material for red-carpet dressing, and it’s been a popular choice lately. Last night, Diane Kruger wore a floor-length blush lace dress by Chanel Haute Couture in Berlin, while Sofia Vergara showed off her hourglass figure in a light blue lace Monique Lhuillier mermaid gown at the Directors Guild of America Awards last week. Colorful versions of lace also appeared at the SAG Awards by way of January Jones and Tina Fey; Jones in a black and gold Carolina Herrera gown, while Fey opted for an Oscar de la Renta look in a sexy scarlet hue.
Dancing with the Stars isn’t just inspiring America to love ballroom dancing, it’s also inspiring fashion. The eveningwear label La Femme announced it will launch a 30-dress collection inspired by the looks seen on the hit reality show named Dancing with the Stars by La Femme this month in collaboration with ABC. While the dresses won’t be nearly as revealing as the daring ensembles you see sashaying across the wooden dance floor on TV, they are definitely inspired by the bright, fun color palette within the DWTS wardrobe (as seen here on Kelly Osbourne). The colorful gowns will be available for $348 to $598 later this month. Click through to see more styles inspired by DWTS!

How does Sofia Vergara keep her curves looking sexy? Well, it’s partly good genes and partly due to her new workout routine with celebrity trainer Gunnar Peterson. “We make sure the curves stay in place and the straight always are nice and tight,” Peterson (inset) told us. That’s why he put the Modern Family star on a schedule that includes three hour-long peripheral heart action (PHA) circuit workouts per week. PHA workouts involve short, intense exercises that keep the heart rate elevated so you maximize your time at the gym, perfect for Vergara’s busy schedule. “The fact she makes the time for these workouts is phenomenal and will keep her looking great in the future,” said Peterson, who also trains Halle Berry and Kim Kardashian. But Vergara’s dedicated. “I said this year I would be a little more careful about exercise and eating healthy,” she said at the SAG Awards. And she is!
