Cheryl Burke on Who Should Win Dancing with the Stars

Nov 23, 2010 @ 10:25 am

Tonight, Bristol Palin battles Jennifer Grey and Kyle Massey one last time before the winner of Dancing with the Stars‘ eleventh season is crowned.  We chatted with dancer Cheryl Burke, a two-time winner of the show, to find out who she’s rooting for tonight: “For me, the best dancer should win and sometimes it’s not always the case. But it just shows you that people love to see the contestants grow through the process and the person who’s grown the most is Bristol. But for me the person that makes me smile and want to get out and dance is Kyle. It’s just debatable.” Tune in tonight at 9 p.m. ET on ABC to see the two-hour live results show!

Olivia Wilde on Transforming Her Body for TRON: Legacy

Nov 22, 2010 @ 4:54 pm

We asked Olivia Wilde all about getting in fighting shape to play catsuit-clad Quorra in TRON: Legacy, and not surprisingly, it wasn’t easy. “I would wake up way earlier than anyone should ever wake up and go do cross training, cardio training and martial arts training for a few hours. I completely physically transformed my body. I have never looked like that before and I will never look like that again,” she said. Wilde also told us that transforming her body helped her shape her character: “It was the first time I realized how important physical training is to creating a character beyond just the aesthetics. Once I understood what it was like to be able to fight and to have those kinds of muscles and strength, it changed the way that I walked and stood.” The actress admits she was relieved when she stopped working out so hard. “The entire time we were shooting ‘Tron’ I was planning my meal on the wrap day,” she laughed. As for what she indulged in, Wilde said,  “I’m married to an Italian and so it was all about the pasta and the wine!” TRON: Legacy opens on December 17.

Katerina Graham Dishes on Her Upcoming Album!

Nov 22, 2010 @ 2:49 pm

We caught up with The Vampire DiariesKaterina Graham at last week’s at the US Weekly Stars Who Care party and scored details about the music she’s now recording: “I’m all about the ’90s. I’m kind of bringing that back, that really fun, power pop stuff. I’m working with Laurie Ann Gibson, who’s Gaga‘s choregrapher, and I’m shooting the video with her next weekend. The album will probably come out next year.” Just don’t expect Katerina’s choreography to reflect too much of a Gaga influence. “I’ve known [Lady Gaga] since I was a kid. I’ve got my own [moves].”
