She’s danced in the New York City Ballet, designed jewelery for actresses like Natalie Portman, Jessica Biel, and Julia Roberts (all above!), and cameoed in the upcoming movie Black Swan—so perhaps for Jamie Wolf, launching her own website isn’t such a huge deal. But it sure is for us! Starting today, you can shop her dazzling collection of 18-karat yellow, white, and rose gold pieces online. Our interview with this stylish wonder woman—and her top holiday gift pick—after the jump.  More

Selita Ebanks Translates Her Racy Runaway Style to Reality

Nov 18, 2010 @ 4:12 pm

True confession: We were downright inspired by Victoria’s Secret model Selita Ebanks‘s stunning look in Kanye West’s epic video, Runaway. But considering her costume was constructed from artfully placed, skin-toned feathers, it would have been tough to imitate in reality. Luckily, at last night’s Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation Gala, Ebanks’s flesh-toned Costello Tagliapietra sheath provided a wearable alternative. Pick up the chic dress at Barneys, top off your look with a pair of flirty gold heels and you’re ready to runaway, indeed.

Kim Kardashian Launches Jewelry at Bebe

Nov 18, 2010 @ 1:04 pm

Kim Kardashian was in New York this week to celebrate the launch of her new lower-priced jewelry line. “I try to find inspiration from what is on the runway,” she told the New York Times. “But I think hoops are a staple. Whether or not they are in, we always get compliments on them.” The Kim Kardashian for Bebe jewelry line, which features earrings, rings and necklaces, is available now in Bebe stores.

Kate Middleton’s In-Demand Style: Issa Dresses, Sapphire Rings!

Nov 18, 2010 @ 12:58 pm

Just like Princess Diana before her, Kate Middleton’s fashion choices are setting off a style-frenzy. The $600+ Issa dress (left) she wore when she and Prince William announced their engagement on Tuesday sold out in 24 hours from British department store Harvey Nichols. And it’s not just Middleton’s clothes that are in demand—sapphires are experiencing the biggest resurgence since, well, 1981, when Princess Diana first flashed the 18-carat sapphire ring. Jewelers report being “flooded” with requests. Hey, if you can’t be the fiancée of a prince, at least you can still dress like one!

Our Favorite Fake-Out Hairstyles

Yesterday, Heidi Klum hit the Los Angeles Auto Show with what we thought was a shorter, curvy cut. Not so! “It’s just a low chignon,” her hairstylist, Michel Aleman told us this morning. “I blew Heidi’s hair out and then she put on her dress. We realized she couldn’t wear her hair down, but I had already spent all that time making her strands soft and natural—and it was early in the morning.” His solution? “I left most of the hair down and just twisted and pinned very loosely in back. We didn’t want anything too sleek,” he said. They had us fooled—just like Gwen Stefani’s faux pixie (left) earlier this week and Michelle Obama last year. Which is your favorite fake-out style? Tell us in the comments below.
